I have worked closely with Deepika since Feb 2022 when I joined Nirogam as Chief of Staff. In the last 11 months, Deepika has been on a rapid evolution as an HR leader. She has: - streamlined communications at Nirogam by helping to bring the whole team on a sngle communication and operations mangement platform: Basecamp. - removed many redundant HR processes and instead implemented many forward thinking policies like remote working, paternity leaves, period leaves, streamlining pay bands and making payscales public within Nirogam....implemented mental health and wellness programs among many more. - streamlined the entire recruitment process by deploying Zoho Recruit that has taken recruitment pipeline mangement from a chaos of many different sheets etc to a single clean dashboard on Zoho. - developed and launched a process for internal grievance redressal. - and much more... Through it all Deepika has also been like the gardener who has helped the team at Nirogam to have fun and bond across geographies and timezones! We never feel like we are apart and she has many lessons to share which many new HR professional and even young managers can learn from.
