I have had the pleasure of working with Deepak on a project team for approximately 10 months, where I am the senior analyst. Deepak's role involves writing code to convert data from a MS Access database to an ERP system. This is a challenging task as the data is currently stored in such a manner that does not easily map to the new system. With very little direction from me, he has been able to successfully convert the data, which will greatly contribute to our customer's satisfaction. Deepak is exceptionally bright and talented; very hard working and self motivated. I truly believe that he would be an asset to any organization and I highly recommend him.

I met Deepak when he was a student in my signal processing class, and was impressed with his enthusiasm, hard work, and interpersonal skills. I was very pleased that he was willing to be a TA for a large class I teach on introduction to programming for engineers. As a lead TA in the class, Deepak ran a weekly computer lab for first-year students, and was responsible for grading their work, tutoring students in programming on a regular basis, and assisting in exam grading. In my experience, he was consistently helpful, had an excellent attitude towards his work, and was timely in completing assignments. Subsequently Deepak enrolled for a special projects topic with me where he has been exploring some image denoising techniques that are of interest to an industrial collaborator. He has written and tested code to implement weighted least-squares approaches for guided image filtering, and has demonstrated performance improvements over state-of-the-art methods. I know our industrial collaborators have appreciated his efforts and am happy to recommend Deepak.
