  Fired by the zeal to delve into unchartered waters, it was at a young age that Deepak Aggarwal opted out of his family pharmaceutical business to embark on his own venture and launched BL International Pvt. Ltd (www.blinternational.net), an export house in 1991.It all started because, not content with just being a part of his family’s large and well established surgical and pharmaceutical business, a young Deepak Aggarwal dreamed out of the box. “Even as a teenager I always wanted to do things differently. That is how I have always been.” He says as a student studying at the College Of Vocational Studies, Delhi University, he wanted to explore new avenues and wanted to stand out, distinct from the crowd. As a student, this desire in him saw him expressing himself through his appearance. “I used clothes and my dressing as a way to express myself”. The export business grew by leaps and bounds thanks to Deepak’s natural leadership qualities, optimism and high degree of business acumen and helped him hone his management skills in the business of fashion garments export. BL International a two decade old company now boasts of an army of patrons across European countries with leading retail brands in high street garments. Today BLI has 3500 employees and is growing strong. Armed with inherent entrepreneurial qualities and experience of more than 18 years in the business of manufacturing and marketing fashion apparels, Deepak Aggarwal then wanted to bring a new dimension to women’s fashion in India which led to BLI Group entering the highly competitive arena of retail fashion and Kazo Fashion Limited was born.
