Associate Surgical Speciality Lead for Coloproctology RCS Trials Initiative
-
Apr 2017 - Jul 2019
One of two trainee representatives appointed to build the profile of colorectal research as part of the RCS trials initiative. During this time I worked on the ACPGBI Improving Outcomes in Advanced Colorectal Tumours (IMPACT) Initiative helping to deliver an initial consultation exercise with key stakeholders and a dedicated PPI day. I have designed a portfolio of studies to address the key priorities identified by IMPACT and hold a Bowel Research UK grant as Chief Investigator.
