Keeping customers informed on a daily basis with ETA of their delivery, pricing, billing. Staying in touch with customers to insure a on going business relationship. To receive new orders each day to keep our drivers moving and keep their shipments moving without any delays. And to keep them updated on those shipments. To reach out to new customers and to build new relationships for our company. Dispatching the drivers on each load that would suit their needs. With a rate that works best for both the customer and our drivers.

I was a dispatcher for flatbed loads going through out the 48 states. We hired owner operators to haul our shipments and to follow up with carrier to insure on time deliveries. I was responsible for dispatching the loads, and making sure customers were kept up to date with the arrival of their shipments. Safety was always our first priority to ensure that our product was secured with straps and chains. And loads then had to tarp once I checked each pallet to insure that all the correct product was loaded onto the flatbed then lastly it would be tarped. Once the load was on the road I would then bill the customer and pay the note the amount that the carrier would be paid once the load was delivered.

Dispatcher for flatbed carrier. Booked flatbed loads for our company drivers and then whatever else we had not covered by our drivers than I would broker out to outside carriers. I was number 1 in our company in loads covered by outside carriers and making the most money off those loads. Again it was all about keeping the drivers and customers happy. Keeping customers up to date on the arrival of their shipments. Keeping in contact with the drivers at all times. Billing the loads out to the customers and paying the outside carriers and our drivers the rates we had agreed to. Keeping in contact with new and old customers to keep our business relationship, also to reach out to new customers and to have them use our company for any new shipments then to ensure that all goes as planned to provide future business for our company.
