As the fourth employee of Computer Data, I was hired as a technician and soon saw the need for educating our clients on the networks we installed. Eight months after I was hired, I opened Computer Data's first classroom as their first certified instructor. I wrote and internally published specific application courses for customers. In the six and a half years that I ran the education department, it grew to a $1M a year division with two locations in Michigan, eight classrooms, and seven full time instructors.
