      The Poplar Creek Public Library District encompasses approximately 66,000 residents. All of Streamwood, 3/4 of Hanover Park and small portions of Bartlett and Schaumburg are part of our district. I have 90+ employees, a 94,000 square foot main library and a 4,000 square foot branch. I have hired a department head and a Deputy Director within the first 4 months. I will be automating a variety of library and HR functions, evaluating the employee handbook and assisting in drafting and updating policies for recommendation to the board. I am very excited to be a part of this lovely and innovative library!
