Responsible for all shelter operations ensuring that there is an adequate supply of food, household supplies, toiletries, bus tickets, etc, while staying within the established budget for these items. Teach residents household management skills including cooking, cleaning, how to do laundry, complete household chores and maintain household appliances, equipment, furniture etc...Prepare meals as needed when esidents are not assigned or cannot fulfill their cooking schedule or ensure each House Parent is ble to prepare meals. Establish trust and develop a respectful relationship with House Parents, residents, and children. Emotional support and actice listening for residents and House Parents through praise and empathy. Create and maintainHouse Parents Schedule and ensure that all House Parent shifts are adequately covered. Teach positive conflict management and de-escalation skills to all House Parents and residents.
