1. Plans, organizes, directs and evaluated the work of the Cardiopulmonary personnel. 2. Plans and develops program components including estimates of facility, equipment and personnel requirements. 3. Negotiates and monitors equipment contracts and advises on selection of cardiopulmonary, cardiology and other equipment. 4. Develops uniform policies, procedures and budgets to ensure overall quality of cardiopulmonary services in accordance with administrative directives and JCAHO/CMS requirements. 5. Coordinates all cardiopulmonary services with nursing and other medical personnel. 6. Interviews, appoints, develops and evaluates Cardiopulmonary personnel. 7. Ensures conformance with applicable accreditation, licensing and quality assurance standards. 8. Review and Approval of all department staffing schedules 9. Develop and maintain an operating budget to include daily productivity monitoring. 10. Quality data oversight and presentation for Quality Board. 11. Safety Committee member 12. Infection Control Member 13. Oversight and responsibility of all Regulatory Compliance Readiness for Cardiopulmonary Services. Show less
