I was employed with the Tricare (then CHAMPUS) division as a data entry clerk, second shift(working nights). I was promoted to Second Shift Supervisor and worked in that division for 3 years. I then transferred to the Federal Employee Program division as a data entry clerk and was again promoted to Supervisor of the "first pass" section. My staff was the ones who received, prepped and processed the claims from patients and providers. I stayed in that division for seven years before leaving to begin my career in the medical office.
