Deborah is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is enthusiastic, detail oriented and extremely quick to deliver. She only submits the highest quality work, and is very open to collaborating. I was also super impressed with her willingness to adopt new technologies. I would work with Deborah again in a heart beat.

For this spec project, I documented a 15-week Texas Hold-Em Poker tournament for a poker reality show / fantasy poker website featuring the members of Fatty’s Poker Club. I shot all video for the original sizzle reel and player photos for the website, wrote player bios, wrote and edited marketing copy, and I ghost-wrote portions of a companion book about the collaboration between an amateur poker player and two semi-pros that was at the heart of the project. S.C.A.R.E. was a non-profit organization co-created with Ivor Balin Pannell to teach advocacy skills to individuals with sickle cell disease, their family and friends, and to facilitate the political development and empowerment of the sickle cell community. Together we developed and presented advocacy skills workshops, often in conjunction with the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, to members of the sickle cell community at local, state and national meetings and conferences. We participated in the development of the first state sickle cell conference in Arkansas, for which we were given Arkansas Traveler Awards. During this time we conducted numerous print, radio and television interviews.
