  Deborah Jones Deborah Jones is a Master Firefighter/Intermediate EMT with the Virginia Beach Fire Department. She began her fire service career in 1994 as a volunteer with Suffolk Fire Rescue. Jones graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Old Dominion University in 1993. She went on to earn her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Norfolk State University in 2013. Jones is licensed by the Virginia Board of Social Work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and is also a certified First Responder Counselor. In her area of practice, she specializes in emotional support, mental health, and cognitive therapy for First Responders.
