Contract Drafting and Negotiation:Drafting and negotiating agreements for various divisions of MNRK Music Group (formerly eOne Music/Entertainment One) (urban, jazz, country, gospel, heavy metal/rock, etc.), including, but not limited to, all licensing, distribution, and recording agreements, producer agreements, co-publishing agreements, master use agreements, synchronization agreements, side artist and label waivers, settlement agreements, sample agreements, and other transactional documents on a regular basis.Contract Administration:Organizing and tracking all contracts, maintaining option tracker, following up on all contract and payment issues, research legal files and contracts to determine existing rights, serve as liaison with distributors regarding contract issues and dispute resolution, and serve as liaison with other departments regarding label’s contractual rights and obligations.Other responsibilities:In charge of post-production label copy, and proofing artwork for legal content, supervising and negotiating all third-party licensing, acting as liaison between the label and other record labels, publishers, recording artists, artist management, producers and their counsel. Heavy contact with outside counsel regarding litigation and settlement negotiation. Heavy contact with upper management, A & R Department, Royalties, Production, and Marketing Department.

Duties included: handling all transactions/deals (from drafting and negotiation various recording agreements, label deals, and publishing agreements) for VP, registering all writers with the requisite performing rights societies, issuing and requesting mechanical licenses, dispute resolution, performing all forms of A& R administration, served as liaison with joint venture partners, etc.
