Bio
Tudor Price
Having spent much of my youth playing competitive rugby, like many of my peers I ended up with severe arthritis in both knees. Then, earlier this year I found myself undergoing a double partial knee replacement as part of a clinical trial. Having both knees done at the same time presented some major challenges but the long term gains were obvious. During my recuperation it became apparent that whilst the physiotherapy was helping address post operative recovery, it wasn't tackling the longer term issues of muscle atrophy and imbalance brought about by years of inactivity. A colleague put me in touch with Deborah at Restoring Health Ltd, a recommendation for which I shall ever be grateful. Deborah's professional, reassuring and empathetic approach was exactly what I needed at that point in my journey, as I was starting to struggle mentally with the possibility that my recovery expectations may not be met. Deborah, took great care in responding to my physical and mental concerns and presented a recovery plan that was easy to understand and follow and could be accessed remotely whilst continuing with my busy professional life. After several weeks of treatment, I have achieved far more than I expected and I have been kayaking, hiking and leading a significantly healthier lifestyle. It's been transformative and whilst I owe gratitude to the surgeon, I credit the quality of my recovery to the complimentary interventions of Deborah's professional service.
