I co-host a daily radio talk show, mornings from 9 am - noon, Monday through Thursday, on KSL Newsradio. We discuss topics that are important our listeners in Utah. Somedays it's an interesting twist on local politics, and new laws. Other days we focus on the rising cost of prescription medications, or how we accidentally set ourselves to be victims of crime, or how we can do a better job keeping Utah schools safe. This isn't your typical talk radio show (you know what I mean). I love to blend serious topics with some humor. It's important to give our awesome listeners something to think about, and laugh about. It was an honor to work 10 years as a national award-winning Investigative Reporter at KSL TV in Salt Lake City. I uncovered government waste and wrongdoing, exposed massive fraud, investigated critical mistakes by public officials that exposed people to dangerous conditions, pieced together injustices perpetrated on first responders by organizational leaders and more. Over the course of my 25 years in television news reporting, I effected changes in laws and policies. After five years as the Investigative Reporter for KSL Television, I was tapped by the FBI Salt Lake City to come to work for them as their spokesperson for a three-state region. Of course I jumped at this amazing opportunity. For four years I oversaw all local, national and international press communication for FBI cases across Utah, Montana, and Idaho. I developed a strategic communications plan, managed press conferences, press releases, and media interviews on terrorism cases, child and adult kidnapping investigations, white collar crime investigations, gang investigations, homicides and felony crimes on Indian Reservations, emergency landings and threats aboard commercial airliners, and bank robberies. In mid-2013 I received an offer from KSL-TV to return to work for them as their Investigative Reporter. Show less
