  I currently in the lab of Dr. Jannelle Hare as Lab Manager/Post Doctoral Research Assistant working to elucidate the roles of the genes ddrR and umuDAb in Acinetobactor species baylyi and baumannii These genes are involved in DNA damage repair pathways and we will further investigate their interactions using DNA sequencing, real time RT-PCR, CHip seq., and Western Blot antibody hybridization techniques. My current project is to transform A. baumannii 17978 with mutated ddrR and umuDAb genes students and I are constructing in plasmid vectors. Show less
