Completion and issuance of Commitment Letters, or coordination with Legal Counsel pertaining to issuance thereof. Completion of loan documents required for new loan transactions and conversions, or coordination with Legal Counsel pertaining to issuance thereof. Manage the structural changes within the transaction due to multi-layered financing and multiple parties to each deal. Involved in all aspects of review and funding of initial and ongoing construction loan draws, equity draws, and escrow disbursements. Ensure receipt and review of monthly construction progress reports from the construction consultants on all Forward Commitments. Communicate with borrower on the status of construction and lease up activity. Discuss status with the loan underwriter, loan officer and senior management as necessary regarding any issues or changes to the project, project budget, or lease up activity which need to be addressed. Communicate with Investor the status of our Forward Commitments and discuss projects that will need extensions. Process extension requests and receive Investor approvals. Coordinate and research answers to all borrower questions and requests on their projects. Prepare monthly reports. Show less
