Although I have known Debbie for years and have had various conversations with her throughout, I never had the opportunity to work with her until most recently. Debbie had reached out to me about an opportunity and although I wasn't looking at the time, Debbie thought I should at least entertain the opportunity as she believed it to be a great one. Throughout the entire process Debbie was the upmost professional, always keeping me in the loop as I was going through the process. What I appreciated most about Debbie was that we could have honest conversations, Debbie knew what my reservations were with taking on a new role and she was fully transparent and didn't give me the typical "recruiter" advice but gave me her honest opinion, good or bad, I appreciated that. Debbie takes a genuine interest in not only her clients but the candidates she works with. She wants to make sure that it is a right fit for both and that her candidates are equally happy with their decisions. I've tended to stay away from recruiters as I always had encounters where I felt that they were just in it to make their commission for their clients and would tell the candidates what they wanted to hear so that they would get the role, this is definitely not Debbie. Debbie understand that this is equally an important decision for the candidate and makes sure the candidate has all of the information they need to make the right, informative decision. Needless to say I went through the process and accepted the job offer that Debbie negotiated for me. Debbie knows the value of a great candidate and assured me that she was going to go to bat for me and she did. But it doesn't stop there with Debbie, Debbie and I have had frequent calls since my placement to catch up and see how I am doing and make sure everything is all good. These are the above and beyond actions that make Debbie stand out from the rest. Those genuine interactions that make you fill like you were not just a candidate but a friend or member of her family. Debbie is one of the best at what she does, her experience and knowledge in the beauty industry speaks for themselves. Working with Debbie was an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for their next role in the beauty industry space. You will not be disappointed!
