  Manchester Thunder is a netball franchise that competes in the Netball Super League. It is a Manchester based outfit that represents the north west region. We host our home fixtures across two high profile venues in the City, AO Arena, Manchester & Belle Vue Sports Village. Thunder have won the Netball Superleague four times, 2012 & 2014 under the guidance of Tracey Neville. In 2019 and 2022 under head coach Karen Greig. We currently average over 1900 fans at every home match and feature regularly on Sky Sports during the season (February to June). In April 2015 we hosted our first match at The Manchester Arena with a record crowd of 4500. Our headline sponsor is AO (Appliances Online) and our kit sponsor is Nike. Key partners also include Vimto, MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University, C&C Insurance, Ethysis, Panjabi MC, Sytner Jaguar, nQ Legal, Bet Fred and Dragon Soop.   I formed Netball UK in 2000 after struggling to buy netball goods anywhere. I am passionate about netball and have been ever since I started playing at school. With no money to invest I instigated a partnership with The Zone manufacturing new lycra netball kits, unheard of in the UK at the turn of the century but increasingly popular in Australia where netball was booming. With my first commission cheque of £60 I bought my first netballs as stock and sold them at my local netball league in Oldham. So, from humble beginnings Netball UK has been transformed into a company turning over in excess of £2m. Netball UK is your one-stop shop for everything netball.
