  Elementary classroom general music is the area that I presently teach-grades Kindergarten through 6th grade and choir. Mentoring is also an important and enjoyable addition to my teaching. I am the curriculum coach for new elementary music teachers to the district to assist and mentor them throughout their first year. I have had several student teachers assigned to me over the years, which is an important responsibility that offers a learning situation that goes both ways for me and them.
