  I work as theSales and Purchasing Manager. My duties include answering the telephone, taking enquiries, quoting of parts, liaising with customers, ordering of raw materials for the factory, managing stock levels to minimum requirements, co-ordinating with factory Team Leaders, the Production Manager and Suppliers to ensure deliveries are made on time. I deal with customer and suppliers both in the UK and Europe. I work with the IT Manager to create and implement a new Software database to incorporate Sales, Purchasing, Production, Quality and Accounts Departments to save time and money on several different packages. I helped train the staff to use the new system which was implemented in March 2004.
