  -Direct all aspects of volunteer program management for 147 student nutrition programs in Waterloo Region including needs assessment, recruitment, screening, orientation and training, mentoring, evaluation recognition and retention of community and corporate volunteers. -Create and maintain a record of all volunteers to ensure screening of volunteers and tracking of volunteer hours necessary for risk management and volunteer recognition. -Develop and maintain a record keeping system that provides the agency with meticulous files and statistical information including evidence-based outcome evaluations necessary for financial and service reporting to various stakeholders. --Create and administer an annual budget and department work plan for the volunteer program. Accomplishments -Directly responsible for a 400 per cent increase in active volunteers (currently 2500+ volunteers). -Developed and implemented Policies and Procedures which includes clearly defined volunteer recruitment, screening, placement and evaluation process. -Created a record keeping system that is focused on risk management. -Dramatically improved interactions with community program leaders through mentoring and relationship building. -Developed and grew volunteer partnerships with community corporations including: Royal Bank, BlackBerry, Manulife, Sunlife, Economical Insurance, Target Canada, BDO, SAP, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Crime Prevention Council, Conestoga College, University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo Region Police Services. -Created a corporate volunteer model which successfully engaged hundreds of new volunteers and led to increased community awareness and fund development. 2013 Chamber of Commerce award for Corporate Engagement. -Developed, planned and implemented all aspects of an annual training forum for over 100 program leaders. -Creatively produced and managed all aspects of an annual volunteer appreciation event that has seen a steady increase in attendance.
