Accomplishments -Directly responsible for a 400 per cent increase in active volunteers (currently 2500+ volunteers). -Developed and implemented Policies and Procedures which includes clearly defined volunteer recruitment, screening, placement and evaluation process. -Created a record keeping system that is focused on risk management. -Dramatically improved interactions with community program leaders through mentoring and relationship building. -Developed and grew volunteer partnerships with community corporations including: Royal Bank, BlackBerry, Manulife, Sunlife, Economical Insurance, Target Canada, BDO, SAP, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Crime Prevention Council, Conestoga College, University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo Region Police Services. -Created a corporate volunteer model which successfully engaged hundreds of new volunteers and led to increased community awareness and fund development. 2013 Chamber of Commerce award for Corporate Engagement. -Developed, planned and implemented all aspects of an annual training forum for over 100 program leaders. -Creatively produced and managed all aspects of an annual volunteer appreciation event that has seen a steady increase in attendance.
