  As a research assistant, there were required from me to conduct various tasks including individual and group tasks; dividing responsibilities by breaking down larger tasks into manageable units; promoting the project; recruiting participants to complete questionnaires; administering questionnaires and capturing data; making corrections on the reference database Zotero; using NWU library databases to find academic articles; and, communicating with each other and researchers on the team. In addition to these general tasks, I was Prof Karina's personal assistant. I was responsible for monitoring other assistants; overseeing assistant duties; training assistants in using Zotero; making arrangements for international research visits; and, completing high-level tasks that required precision and confidentiality.
