I had the pleasure of working with Debbie while she was employed at Renaissance Learning. I took a risk of hiring her directly from her librarian position and with no sales experience. The risk turned out to be a major WIN for our company and the many schools and districts in AZ that Debbie managed as an account executive. Debbie's 'can-do' attitude and ability to self-manage her business made my role as her VP of Sales and enjoyable experience. She is resourceful, investigative, and always matched the best educational solution to meet her clients' needs. Her clients viewed her as a 'trusted advisor' due to her knowledge and confidence. She knows the K12 business very well and would be an excellent addition to any sales organization.

Teachers are the most important driver of student growth and learning, yet studies show most professional development opportunities don’t meet their specific needs. Teachers want professional learning that is personalized, collaborative, and geared towards meaningful outcomes, while also empowering them to take control of their own growth and advancement. That’s why BloomBoard is dedicated to empowering schools, districts and states to help meet these needs by providing educators professional learning with purpose. Show less

At DreamBox, we believe that with the right learning environment, one adapted to each child’s unique skills and needs, we can help millions of students exceed their own and others’ expectations in math. As Regional Sales Manager, I am challenged with the task of helping schools in the Rocky Mountain States discover that they can use DreamBox to provide an effective, engaging, and highly individualized learning environment for every student. Through its support of school districts that have made a commitment to getting more students to graduation day, Graduation Alliance is able to serve young men and women who are working full-time, pregnant or parenting, fleeing gangs and bullies, fighting illness, caring for sick family members, battling mental health problems or dealing with learning disabilities. Many of them have dropped out, and Graduation Alliance is on a mission to find them, and provide all the support necessary to get them back and keep them in a high quality high school program and beyond. As an Advisor for Graduation Alliance (formerly NoDropouts), my accomplishments included: -- Educating School Districts on ARS §15‐901.06-Dropout Recovery Guidelines -- Working with school district leaders to develop dropout recovery partnerships -- Communicating with local politicians to raise awareness of the need for dropout recovery -- Attending local and national education conferences, both for exhibiting and for networking -- Locating various avenues for funding the returning students Show less

Renaissance Learning, Inc. is most known for Accelerated Reader, but is also becoming an international presence in Reading and Math Assessments. As an account manager for Renaissance, I was responsible for sales of all company products. Most of the years with them, I attained President's Club status, and several years, Founder's Club, which is the top honor with which Renaissance recognizes sales reps. In 2009, I achieved number one in sales in the Western Region of nine territories. Besides sales achievements, I also enjoyed meeting and getting to know many of the school administrators in Arizona through our sponsorship with Arizona School Administrators Association, organizing and planning professional development events, and creating a network of friends that I would never have had the pleasure of knowing without my experiences at Renaissance. I wrote curriculum and taught classes to teachers to help them integrate technology into their lessons, and more effectively use their computers, digital cameras, and other devices to increase student learning. The courses earned the participants one, two, or three graduate level credits. Besides maintaining the school library collection and teaching technology classes to the students, I piloted Accelerated Reader(AR) in my school, and then took on the responsibility of upgrading the AR software and training teachers from 32 district schools on AR best practices. My summer classes were always filled to capacity, and student achievement increased due to the teachers use of the program with fidelity.
