As an account manager for Renaissance, I was responsible for sales of all company products. Most of the years with them, I attained President's Club status, and several years, Founder's Club, which is the top honor with which Renaissance recognizes sales reps. In 2009, I achieved number one in sales in the Western Region of nine territories. Besides sales achievements, I also enjoyed meeting and getting to know many of the school administrators in Arizona through our sponsorship with Arizona School Administrators Association, organizing and planning professional development events, and creating a network of friends that I would never have had the pleasure of knowing without my experiences at Renaissance. Besides maintaining the school library collection and teaching technology classes to the students, I piloted Accelerated Reader(AR) in my school, and then took on the responsibility of upgrading the AR software and training teachers from 32 district schools on AR best practices. My summer classes were always filled to capacity, and student achievement increased due to the teachers use of the program with fidelity.
