      My biggest accomplishment to date (except for my daughters) was becoming the Managing Director of All Ports International Logistics, Melbourne. I am super proud that my hard work and dedication has paid off over the past 23 years. I have worked in every role or at least touched on it and love the complexity our industry dishes up to us on a daily basis. I am very happy to say our company All Ports International Logistics was awarded " Customs Broker " of the year award in Nov 2019. The award was awarded due to our impeccable record with Border Force thanks to our team of in house customs broker's along with our long list of nominations from our client base.       Being the GM of All Ports International Logistics, Melbourne gave me the confidence to head a wonderful team in our Melbourne office. During this time I was successful in securing key accounts, maintaining relationships with current clients and dealing with day to day issues of running a Logistics Company.

      Being the Operations Manager of All Ports was certainly an interesting position. During this time we held many key accounts which needed close contact with our clients and constant communications. Our clients loved the close contact we held and remained with us for many years, most of which are still with us today. Working along side Air Freight, LCL & FCL trucking companies was certainly a challenge but the great relationships we built made coming to work every day a pleasure. My management skills started to flourish during this time and the work ethic I passed down to my colleagues was very rewarding. Show less

      During 2001 & 2003 we welcomed two beautiful daughters to our family and a break from work was taken during this time. Part time work was performed with All Ports but not on a full time basis.

      I was given the opportunity to move from our Operations Department to Accounts. I reconciled both A/R and A/P daily and loved the challenge. Accounts is very different to our industries Operations role which has a lot of deadlines looming. I found accounts to be very articulate and attention to detail is very important.

      Transitioning from High School to full time work was an eye opener :) I survived my first year in our industry as a runner which someone once said to me, once your in our industry, there is no getting out. Those famous last words ring in my years as here i am, 23 years later, I am still here and loving it !!!
