  Initially I was a team of 1 then with Board approval, slowly developed and managed a small safety and workers compensation team. Highlights during this period included successfully maintaining a self-insurance licence for all Queensland Hotels (133); after 2.5 year project, in July 2017 was accredited by Safework South Australia with a self-insurance licence for 31 hotels; and with much stakeholder engagement, overseeing a user-friendly injury management program implemented across 3 states.

  Successfully transferred my property based project management skills to occupational health and safety. Co-wrote a risk based program specifically designed for the hospitality sector, acknowledged in 2002 by Worksafe Victoria as the runner up in the Safe Work Week Awards - Training Program. Nationally conducted safety audits. Also provided safety training to Venue Managers.
