• Developed the growth of the database by researching legal publications, online lists and directories for relevant leads. • Compiled new lists and added them to the database. Database maintenance activities, including data entry, updating lists, de-duping records, generating reports etc. • Assisted the Marketing and Registration team with general clerical duties and back up at reception, including professionally answering incoming calls and general in-person inquiries.• Provided excellent, efficient and effective front line customer service to Osgoode Professional Development staff and all visitors.• Organized the registration process for programs including conferences, tele-seminars, rebroadcasts, workshops as well as the sale of corresponding materials. This involved requests by telephone, on- line, e-mail, fax, mail and in person. • Generated reports for Finance on a daily basis as well as pulled reports from the database for other Osgoode Professional Development staff as requested.• Responded to all last minute registration related requests, including but not limited to same day walk-ins.• Maintained an up to date, accurate and readily accessible filing system for all programs and their corresponding registrations.• Communicated all email passwords to web cast delegates and when necessary, generated the password for last minute registrations.• Processed all payment made by cheque, MasterCard and Visa through the Moneris terminal, ensuring all payments were received and recorded in accordance with Osgoode Professional Development and York’s policy and best practices.• Monitored unpaid registration prior to program date and created unpaid confirmation letters, which indicated that registration would be confirmed upon payment. I also reminded clients through email or phone calls that their payment was due prior to the start of the conference. Show less
