Deanna is an incredibly skilled professional and would be an asset to any team. Not only does has she managed operations of a nonprofit organization that provides an array of interdisciplinary services to survivors of torture including legal, social, health, and advocacy; but she also has gone above and beyond in learning skills and performing functions that were outside her job description. She managed our budget, supervised grants for multiple programs, updated HR policies and managed HR functions, maintained relationships with donors and partners, and has done so many other tasks that keep our organization functioning. She made it possible for the legal program, which I manage, to hold bilingual virtual Know Your Rights presentations throughout the pandemic that allowed hundreds of survivors of torture to access critical information they needed to function in the US and understand their cases. Deanna has incredible knowledge of and passion for human rights issues, and truly cares about the organization's mission and the people we serve. She has demonstrated true leadership skills in times of organizational crisis. Any organization would be lucky to have Deanna.

I would highly recommend Deanna due to her excellent professionalism. She is organized, intelligent, meets deadlines ahead of schedule, and is a strong confident leader. As a project manager, I was able to rely on Deanna while I was out with clients and know that our projects would not be delayed. She lead a team of employees and was always ready and able to help other teams as well. I would work with Deanna again any day!
