Creating design and product validation plans and working directly with the customer to review plans, test results and test setups. Working with external test houses to support tests that cannot be facilitated in-house. Building a relationship with external test houses. More recently we have carried out a huge upgrade of our test facilities in order to keep as much testing as possible in house. Supporting the test technicians in setting up each test and ensuring they fully understand what is required. Providing support in setting up the equipment, softwares etc. More recently I have taken a position of supporting the test supervisor through a transition period. I work in supporting a team of 3 engineers and 2 technicians. I am the interface between application and production team in creating a weekly test schedule for the test department, providing training to our technicians in test setup, report writing and communication with engineers to ensure we reach a world class standard. This also includes supporting our 3 test engineers in supporting each project to ensure they run as efficiently as possible.

A member of the electronics team with a key responsibility to develop and test hardware as well as conducting ‘Blackbox’ and ‘Whitebox’ software testing. Provide technical support to Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Worked as the main electronic point of contact with PCBa suppliers, coordinating with the manufacturing team to ensure robust and smooth manufacturing and assembly process. This involved visits to suppliers to participate in audits, technical meetings etc.More recently I transferred to the companies test department as a Reliability and Test engineer. This role includes coordinating internal and external design validation tests for the company’s main project. It also involves coordinating with the sample shop team to ensure that we have sufficient samples available in order to keep the timing of the validation on track, whilst providing the management team with daily/weekly design validation status updates. It also involves regular visits to the external test facilities to discuss project timings and forecast for upcoming tests as well as providing test set up support. I also work with the test technicians and other test engineers organizing the weekly internal test schedule for all departments within the factory, this allows for a structured test procedure and greater control of incoming and outgoing tests. I am also currently working with another sister plant on another continent, providing test support for the team as we work together to develop products for their plant.
