While Dean was on my team for less than a year, his dedication and intellectual curiosity were quickly apparent. He went above what was asked of him by researching new strategies and sharing his learnings with the team to expand our capabilities. As he took on new responsibilities, he always looked for ways to improve processes to increase efficiency and value. He quickly created strong relationships across the organization and the life he brought to our team will not soon be forgotten. I vividly remember the first time I met Dean when he walked into my class on his first day of college. What struck me was his confidence which made him stand out from the others (this was in a class of 100+ students). It was easy to see how and why Dean was quickly selected by his first year classmates to be the Class Representative for the Students Union. It was a pleasure to observe Dean's growth during his college years and to watch him take on bigger roles within the Students Union because he worked at making a difference (which he did). This is a young man who is not afraid of a challenge and actually relishes them. Dean is a bright young man who is a leader with strong emotional intelligence. I look forward to seeing what happens next for him.
