The role involved the management of all the SCM tools and Processes to enable the department to run smoothly and ensure the procurement team has all the data they require. It required me to become a system specialist for all the tools used by SCM including Oracle and various other supplier performance tools. I was responsible for running reports in oracle and developing reports based on requirements from our procurement team.We worked heavily with our stakeholders to ensure our procurement processes suited their needs whilst ensuring the way we worked was aligned with both Vodafone's and SCM's Strategy.I have been one of the key contacts for UK SCM working with the Global Enablers team to implement their Global SCM Processes within the UK.This involved rolling out the Emptoris Contract Management and eSourcing platform to the UK business and onboarding suppliers onto the B2B hub. I managed the onboarding of 63% of the supplier base onto the eInvoicing platform and managed 400 Sourcing events through the eSourcing tool. This resulted in me winning the SCM enabler of the year award and the Vodafone Global SCM awards.
