My role of Producer is to guide the presenters through the show, what we will be selling next, what the next demo created will be, looking at our statistics to see what is selling and what isn't so we can maximise profit, whilst keeping morale high. As the director, my role is a combination of a load of job roles I've done before and crammed into one position. For instance, there is an aspect of transmission where I put our channels live on air and take off air when we finish whilst also organising breaks. I vision mix as well, cutting shots or adding full frame picture shots. I edit out the live graphics and change graphics on screen when requested. I can also edit graphics live if there are any mistakes. Sound mixing is another important part of my job where I have to put mics live or take them down when needed, for example at breaks or when one presenter isn't on screen and is preparing their next craft. A bit of assistant directing with calling the presenters live on air during a break. The Director role of calling shots for presenters and making sure they are in the right position whilst on air. Honestly there is a lot to account for when in the director role, but it is massively rewarding. Show less

Also get to use Peds manually for certain shows and there is also handheld work involved as well. • Vast knowledge on how to use an ETC GIO desk, integral to the lighting aspect to bring depth and the right studio look for sky.
