Conducted applied research on computational imaging with X-rays for security and healthcare applications. Projects focused on the development and testing of coded-aperture-based methods for 3D, spectral snapshot imaging. Created and expanded numeric simulations modeling real-world sensing scenarios, designed and prototyped large test-bed systems, and built proof-of-concept setups including full hardware and software integration. Key projects included X-ray detection systems designed for airport baggage screening and another system targeted to breast cancer detection. Show less
