Diane is brilliant, passionate and has the unorthodox savvy to not merely think outside of the box but to question the box itself and build something far more clever than anyone expected. Having had the honor to work for her during my early stages of my career as a creative, she taught me that good enough was never acceptable. I felt honored to remain her friend after years of journeys that took me around the world and blessed to have learned from her along the way. Her book, "Mary Louise Loses Her Manners" was not only my son's favorite book as a kid but also one of mine. He used to say, "Dad, you really know the person who wrote this?" and I always felt proud to say, "Yes, she's a good friend of mine."

"I have worked with Diane for over 20 years, having retained her on several occasions as the need arose in my capacity as both President of Flooring America and Carpet One. I have called on her to assist me in both long-term and short-term strategic planning (and subsequent strategic documentation), new business ideas, marketing strategies and marketing concepts around those ideas, creative briefs, general business coaching, and speech writing. Working with Diane is anything but a traditional work experience. Diane is a game changer. She is someone you go to when you're looking for something exceptional, when you want someone you can count on not to give up—or let you give up—before you find it. Her ability to think both logically and out-of-the box at the same time, and her passion for pushing you toward new ideas that deliver the desired results are her finest qualities. If you're looking for someone to confirm what you believe you already know, or to do whatever you say because you sign their paycheck (vs because it's aligned with your goals and objectives), Diane is not the consultant for you. If you want someone who will push the envelope, who will inspire everyone in your organization to

Providing business analysis for the duration of a critical website initiative. Responsible for assuring the quality and functionality of a business-critical sessionization service which had to meet the approval of a number of department heads. Since the new sessionization service had a direct impact on the business performance metrics of each department with many 'zero-sum game' scenarios, it was vital to have both a deep understanding of each department's measurable contributions and the sessionization process in terms of how accurately and 'fairly' it assigned credit to each department. Understanding business requirements, supporting business and development in assuring the quality of site releases, and identifying and communicating risks in a timely manner were my primary responsibilities. These responsibilities were facilitated through extensive one-on-one interviews with department heads and engineers as well as developing test cases, filing defects following established processes, and performing black box and grey box tests to ensure releases meet business requirements. I also developed a functional Knowledge Database for the organization. Show less
