My college background in Journalism and Creative Writing has given me a passion for the written word and a healthy obsession of how to use it correctly. I have always had a knack for finding typos, grammatical errors, misspellings, and other mistakes commonly made by the best of us. My husband told me years ago that if I had a nickel for every printed error I found, I would be rich. I finally decided to see if he was right. I love to read and write, yet I find myself scanning the page for mistakes, and inevitably finding them. Whether it is in the newspaper, advertisements on television or in print, menus, signs, newsletters, books, or even professional billboards, I notice errors, and I want to correct them. Most mistakes, whether with spelling, punctuation, or grammar, are made simply because we are in a hurry and just want to get the words down. That’s where I come in. My proofreading and editing skills will help you create the professional image you want to present. It has been shown that peoples’ opinions are influenced by the way something is presented. Something as simple as a misspelling on a flyer received in the mail for lawn care can make or break the business. If the business can’t take the time to have their advertising looked over for errors, they may give the impression that they don’t take the time to do a good job with their lawn care, either. First impressions are vital to any business, no matter how big or small. I’m here to help you create that positive first impression. Please call me or contact me to discuss any projects you might have that need to be reviewed. Fees are dependent upon the job and will be agreed upon prior to any work being done.I look forward to working with you to help you and your business make the best impression possible.
