  Managing Shareholder of the Los Angeles office of Stradling, a mid-sized full service law firm that has ten offices west of the Rockies. I have a broad finance practice with a particular focus on the representation of private equity firms and their portfolio companies, other corporate borrowers, and lenders in debt finance transactions, including acquisition financings, middle market debt financings, broadly syndicated debt financings, asset based lending, factoring and a variety of cash flow based debt financings, including first and second lien debt, unitranche financings, mezzanine debt and others. Prior to joining Stradling, I spent almost eight years at Latham & Watkins representing bulge bracket investment banks in leveraged finance transactions. Prior to moving to Los Angeles in 2004, I worked for UBS in Tokyo, first in its investment banking department executing equity and debt mandates and then as a director in its legal department, and as an associate for Milbank Tweed in New York and Hong Kong.
