Day continues to drive for greater success always. When I first met Day, she was leading the coordination of some very large events throughout Houston, and she was looking for a new career where she could learn more and do more. I hired her to run our theaters in Houston Toys'R'Us stores for the new brand. She took the opportunity and flew with it, by about one month into the new stores set up process, I was able to completely hand off the theater projects for Day to work directly with our CMO and corporate teams. When the pandemic hit, we had to halt from opening any new locations and eventually had to liquidate the second Toys'R'Us brand. Even though we all went our separate ways, I stayed in touch with Day and she would update me every so often on her career aspirations. When I joined Ledge Lounger, the culture felt like everything my Toys team would have loved to be a part of. So when a position opened for a sales assistant, I knew Day would be a great fit and it would give her a shoe into growing and developing even further than I could offer her before. She welcomed the idea, came in to interview, and started working at Ledge Lounger as quickly as possible. Again, she hit the ground running. Since being at Ledge, Day has already promoted numerous times, and continues to surpass every personal goal she gives herself. Anyone that has the opportunity to work with Day is beyond blessed to have her as a peer, and as a friend. She will be an asset everywhere she goes!
