It’s rare that you come across standout person like Dax Robertson. I hired Dax as a talent booking agent in 2000 for The Syndicate Nightclub and with his help The Syndicate had flawless evening entertainment nightly. Dax expertly filled the role of booking agent for the years that the club was operational. I would not have had such great events without the coordination of his eye for great talent. Not only was he reliable his ensured each act was just as reliable. What a relief that was for a nightclub owner with live music 5 nights a week! Most recently I was fortunate enough to hire Dax and his own band, The Sophisticates. They traveled from Austin to Dallas, Texas to perform annually for the NYLO Irving/Las Colinas Hotel on New Year’s Eve Party. Guest surveys from the NYE’s Party skyrocketed to number 1 with great comments of how great the entertainment was from that evening. As a personal reference, I cannot say enough great things and wonderful things about Dax. He is truly one in a million guy and I’m honored to be his friend professionally and personally.

In 2000 I was tasked with booking bands for Cool River Cafe. I did a ton of research and thought I was doing a good job on my own. WELL, One afternoon Dax called me and life as I knew it changed. Not only did Dax make everything super easy for me he took the time to listen to me and learned my likes and dislikes. He was and is one of the very best people in the business. I not only got a great business partner out of this but a true friend. Dax is honest and straight forward. He doesn't make promises that he can't keep. He is a total professional and I am lucky that he made that call on that afternoon.
