I manage the Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP); The Illinois Department of Transportation created this program to increase the number of minorities, women, and disadvantaged persons working on IDOT projects. This program allows for eligible Northern IL residents to take pre-apprenticeship coursework and hands-on instruction to better understand and qualify for employment in the trades.
