  While I have been an engaged and active member of Pearl Hospitality I have had the opportunity to be a part and help facilitate the smooth operation of events on a daily basis. Being in this profession has given me integral interpersonal and communications skills. Through the assistant events manager position, I am tasked with overseeing all events logistics, site-set up and pre-event support, contract approval and inspection, and ensuring each event on the property runs smoothly and efficiently while helping with guests needs and solving any and all issues in a timely manner. Behind the scenes I am a liaison for all third-party vendors to ensure contracts are upheld, I help to maintain building requirements including that of reparations and ordering all necessary items necessary to operate an event, and I attend weekly meetings to ensure the week ahead is planned accordingly.
