      Atlas Resin Proppants is a manufacturer of resin coated proppant, used in the oil & gas industry. We currently operate two facilities, one in Taylor, WI, and the second in Merrillan, WI. Beginning in April of 2011 a third facility (in Merrillan, WI) will start construction with an estimated production date of October 2012. Atlas currently employs 95 people, with an additional 45-50 being hired to support our new facility. My responsibilities at Atlas include all Safety & Health aspects of a manufacturing facility (safety manual, training, compliance, orientation, auditing, program development & improvement, etc...). Our largest exposures are chemical and rail road. In addition to S&H, I am also responsible for all environmental record keeping and reporting for both facilities.
