I met Dawn at a summer writing workshop at Women Writing For (a) Change. I was immediately drawn to her poetic voice and the honest way in which she writes and communicates. Her passion for creative writing was apparent throughout the workshop. Dawn has the skills and talent to touch others with her writing and also encourage them to discover the joy in creative writing for themselves.

Dawn is a dedicated professional who is gifted in the field of creative writing. I have read with interest many of her writings and can attest to the fact that she has a writing style that reaches right to the heart of the reader. Dawn has motivated many women to begin to write from a woman's experience...starting out simply by the exercises Dawn has created to get the unexperienced writer to put pen to paper. Dawn has made a lifetime work of writing, and journaling and encouraging others to do the same. She is an inspiration!
