During my term as Chair of the Scottish Leisure Network Group Dawn-Anne carried out the role of Engagement & Operations Manager. Using her skills and expertise DA helped grow the membership of the Network and was a key player in every member focused event that we delivered. An outstanding organiser and planner every little detail was covered to ensure that each and every seminar was seamless. DA is a strategic thinker that played a large part in establishing the SLNG strategy and set out a clear mind map that defines the group objectives. Beyond her many professional skills DA has the personal characteristics that provides the backbone of someone who is highly respected in the leisure industry. Highly recommended.

If I was asked the question, who would be one of the first names on my first eleven team sheet? It would be Dawn-Anne McAneny. I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Dawn-Anne over the past two years on the Executive Committee for the Scottish Leisure Networking Group. Since Dawn Anne joined the group to focus on Engagement & Operations, SLNG’s reputation within the UK Leisure industry has gone for strength to strength. Her networking skills and attention to detail when planning and organising the events programme has resulted in consistently high attendance figures with many professionals who are working across Europe describing the calendar as the best in the industry. Dawn-Anne’s skills around data visualisation and performance have been a real asset to the group. Her ability to gather complex information and present it in a way that is relatable to the executive committee to drive improvement and strategy setting is extremely impressive.
