Initially stated here as a trainee cnc Turner. Progressively worked up to setting and program the machine I'm working on (fanuc based). Regularly working to tied up tolerances (sub 50 microns) and sometimes even less. Working with a variety of materials including aluminium, steel (mild, stainless and hardened), tungsten, copper, brass and molybdenum. Initially stated here as a trainee cnc Turner. I was working with the Datron M8. Learning how to program and implementing processes. The Darton is a new venture for shearline utilising high speed routing. Software Test Technician

My main role at present within the company is a Software Test Technician. My main responsibilities include full and thorough testing of software and firmware supplied to the test team in an agile environment. Providing detailed fault reports, recording of all testing preformed and liaising with R&D. As a team we are ever improving. Currently investigating, implementing and improving automated tests. These include PC scripts, use of automated suits and embedded hardware solutions. Show less

Main roles included maintenance of civil and military aircraft, including aircraft repair and modification in accordance with industry and safety guidelines.
