- PWA – I carried out the relevant research, learned the principles of underlying technology and decided on the implementation strategy for delivering a PWA web app. I led the project from the very start, implemented the requirements and documented them for other engineers. - Headless CMS - I carried out the POC research and chose the best CMS to host cord's content on. The content is consumed within the cord app via REST APIs in a truly headless manner. The project improved cord's SEO optimisation and increased the number of recurring passive signups to the platform. - Delivery of features - As with any other startup, requirements change frequently. I am delivering new features on the front and back end of the application against business needs. Some of those are: removing unconscious bias or adaptation of the platform for EU and US expansion. • Financial Crime Management Portal – I worked alongside non-technical fraud investigators to measure their current work practices and capture them into a new tool. I was the only engineer responsible for delivering the Front End solution in React and Redux. • Contract Testing - I contributed to splitting Starling’s monolith into microservices by implementing contract tests, gateways and writing documentation used by other engineers. The project resulted in more elastic software architecture and improved dependency management. • Integration with FDM postage services – Developed a feature for testing sending NOSIA letters which resulted in decreasing unmanaged debt by Starling’s clients. • Delivering software in Agile methodology, monitoring exceptions, managing software releases and responding to pipeline failures.
