Caitlin Outlaw
Caitlin Outlaw 4804 Weybridge Road West, Apt D Columbus, OH 43220 April 13, 2018 To whom it may concern, I am writing on behalf of Ms. Cindy Song regarding her aptitude for social work and long term success in this field. Cindy has held many roles in my life from coworker to study partner to lifelong friend, over the past twelve years of knowing her I have had the privilege of watching her turn her passion for helping others into a position to implement change that benefits everyone she comes into contact with. She is knowledgeable and kind and seeing her progress into the confident, compassionate woman she is today is why I can tell you without question she is of outstanding character and morals and will make an incredible addition to your team. In working with Ms. Song on the Horne for School Board campaign, I saw Cindy push herself to be helpful to others and to meet deadlines, working long hours and following directions decorously. She always takes the initiative to make sure her work was done exceptionally well. She wrote out reminders and created schedules coordinating our team members to share our policies with donors and voters. Her attention to detail and impeccable organization skills kept our team on time and on task to meetings with our constituents and fundraising events. With her helping us from May all the way up until election day in November, our team managed to win the election for School Board and have held the office ever since. Cindy and I have known each other since middle school where she serendipitously was seated next to me in Spanish class holding a card and a teddy bear for our teacher whose mother had recently been in the hospital. In all the time I’ve known her, she hasn’t changed her mindset from that day; always looking out for people and being considerate of their own personal struggles. Ms. Song has upgraded from stuffed animals to social work cases but she is still going above and beyond to help ease the pain and struggles of others. With her abilities, compassion, and dedication Cindy will excel in any career path she chooses but her proclivity for selflessness will ensure her career as a social worker be long lived and filled with success stories for those who need help most.
