I teach a very wide range of economics and interdisciplinary courses and have directed a vast range of independent studies and senior projects. On four different occasions I led or co-led term-long academic programs in Yucatan, Mexico, focusing on environmental issues in developing countries. My committee experience includes stints as moderator of the faculty meeting, chair of the committee responsible for college governance, and chair of a the coordinating committee of the Eco League, a six college consortium of environmentally-focused liberal arts colleges. I consult and speak on ecological economics, community sustainability and regional economic development, and cooperatives/cooperation. Show less
