I contacted Davina to help me with some deep meditative work to help me with some energy blockages that seemed to be holding me back. The experience was incredible; truly transformative. I found the guided meditation similar to a relaxing therapy session, where the gentle enquiry felt nurturing and safe; I loved that we could explore as little or as much as I was open to. The experience was however very different in other ways - using new techniques I have not encountered - and in terms of results was really powerful, even within one session. Incredible. I had the pleasure of working with Davina and her business partner Zi En Wong when they invited me to collaborate with E:SCAPE on their luxury curated retreat in Koh Samui. My role was to provide Stress Management workshops alongside individual executive coaching for all the guests. The format of E:SCAPE was of particular interest to me. With this inaugural retreat, it was clear that much thought and care had been applied to ensure that its participants truly experienced The Ultimate Escape. The retreat was carefully designed to benefit and cater to its guests in a variety of ways. As a true offering of a getaway to its guests, we were presented with - luxury in venue and general offering & services; expert practitioners in a variety of fields; personalised curation of healthy nutrition, programmes and schedules; diverse, fun yet stimulating and in equal measure relaxing activities; cerebral, spiritual, psychological and physical learning & development; and the opportunity to meet with like-minded and yet eclectic individuals outside of our normal professional and social circles. A very balanced and positively impactful offering – and yet at no point did it feel like anything was hard work and burdensome. A tough objective to meet, but to me as a professional and as an individual, E:SCAPE outperformed my expectations. For me to work with such focused professionals is a real treat and sadly a rarity. The amount of thought, effort and preparation that went into delivering such an outstanding retreat was quite phenomenal. This included everything from aligning of vision & objectives, marketing, administration, effective & timely communication, to catering to my personal tastes and preferences whilst there. Nothing was too much hassle, and yet it was very clear what their vision was for their guests. And yet, at no time, did I feel micro managed or put upon. It was hard to believe this was their first retreat. The respect I have for the founders of Escape is right up there amongst some other greats. To be invited to be part of their team was my privilege and I cannot wait to collaborate with Davina and Zi En again. I could not recommend this retreat or working with E:SCAPE more.
