Worked on Qantas's industry leading flight planning system, Constellation. My role was as a software engineer on the core path planning and optimisation algorithm. It was my responsibility to implement new features, fix defects, and act as a subject matter expert of path planning and optimisation, responding to questions and queries from flight crew and flight dispatchers.Constellation has featured extensively in the media, and was presented as one of Qantas' most innovative projects at the Amazon Web Services Sydney Summit.Constellation won an industry award for technological innovation in Air Traffic Control.
