As a developer at Littlelines I help our clients from around the world solve new and interesting problems. I enjoy using a wide variety of technologies to tackle these problems including Ruby, Rails, Elixir, Phoenix, Angular, CoffeeScript, and others. With a small focused team, we all share a large part of the success of each project at Littlelines. This personal investment allows me to interact daily with people from across the globe to help see their projects through to completion. **Sample Projects** * Primary development and client interaction for the John Aaroe Group - http://aaroe.com - a real-estate search focused web application built for the John Aaroe Group out of Los Angeles. This application allows people to research 60,000+ Los Angeles real estate listings to find the home that best fits their needs. The application also features a utility to allow the managers at John Aaroe Group to administer the application including searching for a featuring specific listings, managing real estate agents and their respective listings, setting open houses, and updating primary site information. * Primary development and client interaction for University of Notre Dame Press - http://undpress.nd.edu - A product focused e-commerce application for University of Notre Dame Press. This project featured upgrading, refactoring, and restyling an existing Rails 1 application (to the current release at the time - Rails 4.1). Additionally, we utilized Solr to allow their customers to search their entire product database. This significantly improved their customers ability to find and buy great products from the Press. These new updates helped improve organic browsing by determining related products, categorizing products by topic, and grouping products by author. Finally, this project updated the Press' process for updating their database on a recurring nightly basis. This project primarily utilized Rails, Angular, Solr, Redis, Sidekiq.
